Weird kinda week ahead, but also all part of the plan: I'll cover the rematch of Penguins vs. Avalanche here tonight, then take off tomorrow morning to spend the following five days with the Pirates in New York for their 145th season-opening series, then drive across to Elmont, N.Y., for the Penguins' massive meeting with the Islanders.
It's an insane time in our little world.
And that's not even mentioning the single largest civic event in our city's history next month. Or that the Stanley Cup playoffs start right around the same time. Or all the additional baseball.
