I'm pretty much opinion-free at this point when it comes to Cam Heyward's continuing contract stalemate with the Steelers, other than to suggest the following: Figure it out. Find a way without fretting over possible precedents. Or who spoke what words at what stage of those original negotiations. Or, for that matter, who's being paid what elsewhere.
There's room there. Try a little harder. Allow everyone to save some face, if not all.
