Just checked the new Pro Football Focus big board to see if the Senior Bowl practices had any impact on it. A couple of the most notable movements:
• Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss -- He was previously ranked No. 35 on their big board. Now he's ranked No. 19. Everybody I spoke with in Mobile, Ala., said he's a first-round pick. He proved that this week, and now PFF has correctly adjusted.
• Darius Alexander, DT, Toledo -- Prior to this week, Alexander was ranked 184th on PFF's big board. A very impressive performance during practices had him jump all the way up to No. 63. I don't know if one week at the Senior Bowl is enough to make him a potential second-round pick, but he definitely did enough to drastically elevate his draft stock.
• Jack Bech, WR, TCU -- Bech's jump wasn't as drastic, but he still went from No. 56 to No. 38 in the most recent PFF big board rankings. He proved a lot this week, and especially reinforced his ability to catch just about anything thrown in his direction. Bech capped this week off with being named MVP of the Senior Bowl game.
