Derrick Harmon left tonight's game in the second quarter with a knee injury. He was immediately ruled out. Harmon was carted to the locker room with a towel draped over his head, appearing to be pretty emotional.
Harmon's final play on the field was when James Pierre intercepted Jack Plummer in the end zone. Harmon was engaged with Brandon Walton, pushing him back to create pressure. Harmon went to the ground after Plummer scrambled to his right.
Harmon returned to the sideline in the second half in street clothes, not wearing any visible brace. No crutches is sight, either, indicating he walked back out from the locker room. Mike Tomlin said after the game that Harmon sustained a knee sprain. His prognosis is not yet known.
In addition to Harmon, Brandon Johnson sustained a foot injury. He was originally listed as questionable, but did not return to the game. He is currently being evaluated.
