DeShon Elliott will be a Steeler for the next three seasons. There seems to be an overwhelmingly positive reaction from the fan base with Elliott's two-year, $12.5 million extension. Elliott is just as excited, if not more.
"Grateful to the Rooney family, Omar Khan ad Coach (Mike) Tomlin for bringing me to Pittsburgh and giving me a home," Elliott wrote on his Instagram story. "Thankful to be extended for two more years to play for the best organization and in front of the best fans in the NFL.
"Also want to thank (CJ LaBoy), (Quincy Peyton) at Wasserman for getting this done. They've changed my life in the last four months more than any other representation has previously, through business and building relationships."
With his Instagram story posts, he included several pictures of him in his Steelers gear and what appears to be a screenshot from the FaceTime call with his agents when the extension was done. Among all the pictures he posted, this one's probably the best:
