George Pickens spoke with local reporters during Cowboys OTAs in Frisco, Texas, and may have thrown a bit of shade at the Steelers' culture.
When asked about getting acclimated to his new team, having a dinner with Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer, Pickens unsolicitedly brought up team culture:
"Just everything. The culture, too, that's the thing," Pickens said. "It's super refreshing with a different culture. Texas brings a whole different culture. I like it."
In addition, Pickens referenced more of the team and coaching when asked about what kind of a fresh start he was needing.
"Everything, as far as city-wise, every city is different. But as far as organization-wise, teams, the plays are kind of universal. Just refreshing as far as teammates, I'll probably say, because there's a new group of guys, a new group of coaching."
