In addition to the three hirings earlier today, the Steelers have announced five more hirings for Mike McCarthy's staff:
• James Campen, offensive line coach • Jahri Evans, assistant offensive line coach • Ramon Chinyoung Sr., running backs coach • Adam Henry, wide receivers coach • Tom Arth, quarterbacks coach
Campen and Henry have both been previously reported as new members of McCarthy's staff.
Evans, 42, spent 12 seasons as a guard in the NFL. He spent all but one of them with the Saints, in which he was named first-team All-Pro in four consecutive seasons (2009-2012). He ended his playing career playing under McCarthy for the Packers in 2017. He started his coaching career in 2022 as an intern for the Saints. He moved up to offensive assistant in 2023-24, and was later promoted to assistant offensive line coach in 2025.
Chinyoung began his coaching career in 2022 as an offensive quality control coach with the Broncos. He was then hired by McCarthy in 2023 and worked as the Cowboys' assistant offensive line/quality control coach for two seasons before working as assistant offensive line coach in 2025.
Arth joins Scott McCurley as another coach that's being retained from Mike Tomlin's staff. Arth was part of the quarterback room in McCarthy's first season as head coach in Green Bay (2006).
