Aaron Rodgers appeared on The Pat McAfee Show today, breaking his silence with the media since the end of the Steelers' season. In his time on the show, Rodgers praised Mike McCarthy and his time in Pittsburgh last season. However, he doesn't sound like he's in much of a hurry to make a decision.
"There hasn't been any contract floated in front of me," Rodgers said on the show. In addition, Rodgers confirmed what Omar Khan said last week in Indianapolis, that they haven't given him a deadline. Rodgers spoke about how much he's enjoying time with his wife, going on ski trips, etc. But, he also said he's still working out, indicating he's still open to playing in 2026.
However, when McAfee asked him about the decision he has to make, Rodgers prefaced any answer by saying, "Anyone on here expecting me to make some big decision on here, just turn it off right now."
Either way, there was zero sense of urgency in Rodgers' answers.
