With DK Metcalf's suspension opening up a roster spot, the Steelers have signed cornerback Tre Flowers to the active roster.
Flowers, 30, has eight NFL seasons under his belt, playing for the Seahawks, Bengals, Falcons, Jaguars, Colts and, most recently, the Lions. He's appeared in 86 games, recording 270 tackles, four interceptions, five forced fumbles and 22 passes defensed.
Since 2022, Flowers has primarily been a contributor on special teams. Over his career, he's logged 1,181 snaps on special teams, 613 of them since 2022.
