HEYWARD IN PROTOCOL; MINKAH TO BE EVALUATED FOR KNEE INJURY
Cam Heyward was placed in the concussion protocol shortly after Saturday's game, per Steelers PR. Reporters -- myself included -- waited in the locker room to speak with him, but PR made that announcement as Heyward was re-entering the locker room, thus making him unavailable.
Minkah Fitzpatrick left in the second quarter with a left knee injury, and he went to the locker room with a team doctor with 3:49 left in the first half and did not return for the remainder of the game.
Mike Tomlin said they will have more clarity on Fitzpatrick's injury once they get back to Pittsburgh. Tomlin did not make a mention of Heyward being placed in he protocol in his post-game press conference, as the announcement came after he stepped down from the podium.
