Browns linebacker Devin Bush was arrested on Sunday in the Pittsburgh area.
According to court records, Bush was taken into custody by police in Bell Acres, a small borough in northwestern Allegheny County. The former 10th overall pick by the Steelers in the 2019 NFL Draft was charged with simple assault, a second-degree misdemeanor, and harassment, a summary offense.
Bush, 26, was released on non-monetary bail after charges were read Sunday evening. He has a preliminary hearing scheduled in Allegheny County court for May 20. In Pennsylvania, the maximum punishment for a second-degree misdemeanor is two years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
The 2024 season was Bush's first with the Browns. He started 10 games and recorded 76 tackles, which ranked fourth on the team. In March, Bush re-signed with the Browns on a one-year, $3.25 million deal.
