The 15 modern-era finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2025 is out, and neither James Harrison or Hines Ward made the cut.
Both Harrison and Ward were named semifinalists back in November. But, for the third time in a row for Harrison and the ninth time in a row for Ward, neither will be one of the final 15 that's debated amongst the selection committee prior to the Super Bowl.
The 2025 finalists are:
• Eric Allen, cornerback • Jared Allen, defensive end • Willie Anderson, offensive tackle • Jahri Evans, guard • Antonio Gates, tight end • Torry Holt, wide receiver • Luke Kuechly, linebacker • Eli Manning, quarterback • Steve Smith Sr., wide receiver • Terrell Suggs, outside linebacker/defensive end • Fred Taylor, running back • Adam Vinatieri, kicker • Reggie Wayne, wide receiver • Darren Woodson, safety • Marshal Yanda, guard/offensive tackle
The Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2025 will be announced Feb. 6 at the NFL Honors in New Orleans, part of the Super Bowl week festivities.
Did Harrison or Ward deserve to be among this group? If so, who would you leave out to include them?
