Sunday’s Best: Not much ‘rush,’ but plenty of color

The Steelers don't get a whole lot of uniform variation. There is black. There is white. There are no-longer-used throwbacks.

Really, that was about it until last Christmas saw the Steelers seek a color rush of their own for the holiday bash against the Ravens. It wasn't a Thursday night game — that's where the solid-color look is typically seen — but the Steelers wanted in on the game after retiring the 'bumble bee' look earlier in the season.

So, the team of black and gold donned a solid black look, and they carried it into 2017 to wear during Thursday Night Football for a 'proper' color rush game.
