The Steelers' third Hall of Honor class will be announced at the team's training camp at Saint Vincent College July 27.

Who might this year's class include? It's a great question for a team so rich in history.
The inaugural class in 2017 included all of the team's 23 members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, plus former running back and assistant coach Dick Hoak, safety Donnie Shell, defensive end L.C. Greenwood and linebacker Andy Russell.
Last year, former front office members Art Rooney Jr. and Bill Nunn, guard Alan Faneca, running back Rocky Bleier and receiver Buddy Dial were added.
Who could go in this year?
Offensive tackle Jon Kolb, center Ray Mansfield, running back Fran Rogel and linebacker-center-defensive end George Tarosovic would lead the list of my top picks from players who joined the team prior to 1970. Former color analyst Myron Cope would also make my list for strong consideration, as would front office man Dick Haley.
Offensive linemen Larry Brown and Gerry Mullins, defensive lineman Dwight White, defensive back Mike Wagner, receiver Louis Lipps and safety Carnell Lake are among the contemporary players who could deserve consideration.
To be considered for the Hall of Honor, the player must be retired for at least three seasons and have played for the Steelers for at least three seasons. He also should possess noteworthy career highlights, records or achievements.
Front office or off-field honorees must have made significant contributions to the team and community.
