The days are ticking away to Christmas, and we're here to help!

With gifts to buy and receive:

Half-off gift subscriptions!

For the first time, our holiday gift subscriptions are being sold at half off the usual $39.99. In addition, we'll get you a very special, original card -- illustrated by our own Rob Ullman, featuring Cam Heyward, Jake Guentzel and Bryan Reynolds -- customized to the team of your choice, introduced here below:

And from there, you can either send the card yourself or print it out to accompany your gift.

Just tap the big box below to buy the actual gift subscription:

• H2P gift subscriptions!

Yes, of course, our Pitt gift subscriptions are still in the gift mix, too. Get one of these and contribute toward the return of our coverage of the Panthers.

Gift for yourself!

If you haven't heard, our three-year Lunatic Level will be coming to an end Dec. 31. So if you'd like to upgrade your existing subscription or extend it -- regardless when it ends -- by a full additional three years, you can do so this month at the current price of $87. This is also will represent the last chance to get the famed Lunatic Brick!

Team merchandise!

Once again, we're offering to you heavily discounted Steelers, Penguins, Pirates, Pitt and other merchandise through our partners at Fanatics, with our site keeping 15 percent of every purchase:

We've never made a secret that an enormous chunk of our annual revenue comes this time of year, so we're going to push hard! Thank you in advance for considering our offerings!

OUR GREAT PARTNERS

Once a year, my wife Dali plays Santa by trekking all over the region to personally pass out holiday presents to our business partners. In a couple cases, obviously, she's got to use the mail, but that counts, too.

And then, there's Josh DeNinno of Moon Golf Club, who came to our holiday meetup Thursday night to take the process in reverse:

We appreciate every single one of our partners, large or small, and this is just a tiny token of that appreciation.

(Yes, they got Bricks. That's all I'm really saying here.)

H2P COUNT: 761

As of 12:01 a.m. Saturday, exactly seven full weeks since the announcement that we're bringing back Pitt coverage, we've sold a total of 761 H2P Subscriptions. That includes 57 sold in the past week, one more than the previous week.

Here's how to get yours.

NEW/OLD APP UPDATE

The next phase of the new app/site is the actual production, and that's where it gets kind of quiet. If you haven't seen the general design yet, this is a sample home page:

We're looking at late February at the earliest for an actual launch. And yeah, that feels like a long time away. It really does.

There are still complaints about the current app and site, and a lot of them are painfully valid. All I can say is that, when it's something serious, like one issue in the past week, we'll address it aggressively. But beyond that -- and I can't state this forcefully enough -- we won't be slowed in the other process by wasting time or money on a platform that we're about to blow to smithereens. That'd be a terrible use of our -- really your -- resources.

BACK TO BUSINESS

• New subscribers for 2019 are at 1,238. You can track this figure daily at the bottom of the desktop and tablet versions of the site.

• Our daily page views, averaged out over the past 30 days, are at 86,164. I've been citing here for months now that the goal with this figure is to average 100,000, a number we've achieved regularly only during the two Stanley Cup runs. We've fallen back over the past month.

• Our most-hit original article of the past week my column from Heinz Field on the Steelers' loss to the Bills at 15,932. The Steelers accounted for 181,229 page views, the Penguins 115,881, the Pirates 42,848, and Pitt basketball 8,092.

• We're at 35,181 (+58) followers on Twitter, we're at 32,078 (+1) page likes on Facebook, we're at 12,437 (+85) followers on Instagram. These figures are just for our official company account on each platform, not for us as individuals.
