The Penguins are getting an early start on the NHL's holiday break, which officially begins Tuesday and runs through Thursday. They are scheduled to fly home Sunday and will not be together again until they convene Friday morning for a flight to Nashville, where they will face the Predators that night in the front end of a home-and-home series.
