Dumoulin, Marino to return, Tanev out vs. Senators taken at PPG Paints Arena (Penguins)

John Marino. -- MATT SUNDAY / DKPS

It's official: Brian Dumoulin and John Marino will both make their returns Tuesday night at 7:08 p.m. against the Senators, Mike Sullivan announced at his 5 p.m. availability.

Dumoulin is expected to return to his spot on the top line alongside Kris Letang and play some big minutes

"In theory you'd like to ease (Dumoulin) back in," Sullivan said. "But I don't even know if that's possible the way today's game is being being played. These guys are ready to play. They've been in a handful of practices, they're in great shape."

Brandon Tanev will not play, but his absence is apparently unrelated to his fall in Monday's practice when he appeared to hit his head into the boards. Sullivan said Tanev is ill.

Tanev's apparent illness explains the emergency recall of Anthony Angello earlier in the day.

"He's played well," Sullivan said of the decision to recall Angello. "He's also played well in Wilkes-Barre. He's one of their best players down there."
