ALTOONA, Pa. -- The McDonogh School in Owings Mills, Md., has been very good to Penn State, and the Nittany Lions tapped into their connection once again this week.
Penn State received a commitment Tuesday from 3-star defensive end Mason Robinson, a 6-foot-4, 230 pounder who had been committed to Northwestern before decommitting Monday.
In flipping to the Lions, Robinson became the second defensive end to commit to Penn State in as many days. Joseph Mupoyi, a 4-star from Connecticut, announced his commitment Monday.

And how's this for a fruitful connection: Penn State already has four members of the current team from McDonogh School, where Robinson attends. Here's that group:
• LB Curtis Jacobs
• DE Dani Dennis-Sutton
• DT Dvon Ellies
• DT PJ Mustipher
• Also, Penn State director of player personnel Kenny Sanders is from McDonogh
Thankful to have Penn State stop by tonight. Me and the family had a great home visit tonight with @coachjfranklin @Coachpoindexter @CoachJScott_DL. #WeAre 🦁 pic.twitter.com/Ce7L7CLXPm

Robinson committing to Penn State was not a surprise, as he seemed to tip it off Monday during a video announcing his decommitment from Northwestern.
He talked about his visit to Penn State a few days ago and hanging out with the other McDonogh products there, and check out his left wrist, as he is sporting a Penn State band.
There's a lot of good stuff from Robinson in this video.
