Monday was a big day for Pat Narduzzi and the Panthers as they picked up verbal commitments from three recruits in the Class of 2025.
Three-star safety Cole Woodson from Battlefield High School in Haymarket, Va., three-star athlete Joshua Guerrier from Ocoee, Fla., and three-star linebacker Denim Cook from Bishop Hartley High School in Columbus, Ohio, all announced their commitments via X.

Cook is listed at 6-foot-4, 235 pounds. In his junior season, Cook tallied 116 tackles, 22 TFLs, 15 sacks and 17 quarterback hurries. He announced his Panthers offer Jan. 23 and made his official visit June 20. Along with Pitt, Cook also announced offers from Virginia, Purdue, Kent State, Akron, Indiana, Ohio, Western Michigan, Louisville and others.
Guerrier is listed at 5-foot-11 and 173 pounds. He has played primarily defense since he was a freshman but has played both ways at times over the past two seasons, hence his athlete designation.
Throughout his recruitment, Guerrier announced offers from several Power 5 schools including Cincinnati, Iowa State, Kentucky, Wake Forest, Tennessee, Iowa, Louisville USF, Wisconsin and Boston College. He announced his official offer from Pitt in January and made his official visit the weekend of June 13.
Woodson was the last of the trio to commit. He is listed at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds. He announced offers from Minnesota, Virginia Tech, Duke, UConn, Wake Forest, Virginia and West Virginia, along with others. He announced in Pitt offer in late January and made his official visit the same weekend as Guerrier.
According to Rivals.com, the Panthers currently have 21 verbal commitments for the Class of 2025. All of them have earned three-star rankings outside of defensive back Mason Alexander from Fishers, Indiana, who is a four-star.
