Coming off a bye week, Pitt has another opportunity to make history this week as they head to North Carolina and look to win at Kenan Stadium for the first time in program history. The Panthers are 0-7 against the Tar Heels in Chapel Hill, N.C. and are 5-12 in the series overall with their last win coming in 2021.
Through four games, Pitt is statistically one of the best offenses in the country. They are currently fifth in the country in scoring, averaging 48.5 points per game, and they are ranked sixth in the country in yards per game, averaging 522.8 yards per game. A win this week, in its first ACC game of the season, could put Pitt on an upward trajectory. There's a lot to talk about, so ask away.
