Reiterating a couple of timeline-related things regarding the Penguins' coach search:
• The search process began the day they parted ways with Mike Sullivan.
• Virtual interviews are taking place over the first month, then in-person interviews begin late May into June, and then they hope to have a coach in place early June.
• Kyle Dubas on what may make the search longer: "That may be delayed because some of the people, just very quickly starting to put together a list at the top folks, some of those people are employed either by top AHL teams or they're on NHL staffs as we speak right now, so that would be the only delay."
• No, Dubasalso being GM of Canada in the World Championship isn't a hindrance to anything. The team is built. It's an international tournament. What would anyone think he's doing, making trades with Slovakia? Sending young guys down to France? Think a little.
