Tanner Howe underwent reconstructive ACL surgery in his right knee on Wednesday. The surgery has an expected recovery time of nine months, which would have him back around January of next season. Howe sustained the injury in the WHL playoffs with the Calgary Hitmen.
Howe, 19, becomes AHL eligible next season due to already having four seasons worth of WHL experience.
