Bryan Reynolds said his leg started randomly bothering him pregame as he ran around, so the decision was made for him not to play in the outfield tonight.
Reynolds, who was diagnosed with left groin discomfort, did make an impact with a pinch-hit single that scored the game-tying run in the eighth inning and said it didn't feel bad swinging the bat, adding that he doesn't expect the injury to linger:
"I think it was just kind of a one-off weird kind of thing," he said. "Getting older, I guess.”
