The preliminary rosters for the 2026 Spring Breakout were announced on MLB Network today, with all of the Pirates’ top 30 prospects on Pipeline being included. This will be the third year MLB has run the Spring Breakout, and all games will take place between March 19 and March 22.

The Pirates will take on the Detroit Tigers on March 20 at LECOM Park. That’ll feature a matchup of the top two prospects in baseball, Konnor Griffin and Kevin McGonigle.
