Bob Skinner, a World Series champion with the Pirates as both a player and a coach, has passed away at the age of 94, the team announced.
Mr. Skinner was an outfielder on the Pirates’ 1960 World Series championship team and a coach on the 1979 World Series championship team. He made his major-league debut with the Pirates in 1954 and played nine of his 12 seasons in Pittsburgh.
