A few extra notes from tonight's offensive output in the Pirates' 16-5 win over the Nationals at PNC Park:
• The Pirates scored 10 runs in the sixth inning. That's the first 10-run inning since July 9, 2017 against the Cubs.
• That 10-run sixth inning is also the first 10-run inning by the Pirates at PNC Park since May 17, 2009 against the Rockies.
• Tonight is the first time the Pirates have scored 16 runs since Aug. 1, 2025, a game in which the Pirates lost, 17-16, to the Rockies in Denver.
• The last time the Pirates scored 15 or more runs at PNC Park was July 1, 2019 in an 18-5 win against the Cubs.
