• Turner doubles into left and then Ashcraft intentionally walks Schwarber.

• Triolo makes a gold-glove caliber play at first to rob Stott of a hit.

• End of eighth inning: Hayes strikes out looking and strands the bases loaded.

• Tommy Pham is going to run for Frazier.

• Davis strikes out on a fastball up and away and Frazier is hit in the right knee. that loads the bases for the Pirates with two outs.

• Reynolds strikes out looking on an inside fastball and Gonzales draws a four-pitch walk.

• RUN: Cutch flares one into shallow right field and Cruz got a great jump on it to score from second. Pirates, 2-1

• Cruz swipes second and is in safely despite a challenge by the Phillies.

• Cruz walks to lead off the eighth and that's going to be it for Sanchez, who was as dominant as Skenes. Orion Kerkering enters.

• Marchan grounds out 4-3 to end the top of the eighth.

• Ashcraft spots a 98 mph fastball right at the bottom of the zone in a 2-2 count, but a ball is called. Marsh eventually walks.

• Kelly comes out to get Skenes after he records two outs on groundouts in the eighth. Fans don't like the decision, but can't ask for much more from Skenes, who finishes with 97 pitches over 7 2/3 innings. Braxton Ashcraft takes over with two outs in the eighth.

• End of seventh inning: Triolo flies out to center and IKF retired 6-3.

• Call is overturned. Hayes is out.

• Hayes swipes second for the time being. Phillies are challenging. 

• Hayes leads off the seventh with a single to right. First Pirates hit since the fourth. He and Triolo have accounted for four of the team's six hits. 

• Another 1-2-3 inning for Skenes, who is up to 93 pitches over seven strong innings. This inning was capped by an exceptional diving catch by Hayes at the hot corner.

• End of sixth inning: Sanchez strikes out two more Pirates to give him nine over six innings. he's retired seven straight. 

• Skenes induces a pair of flyouts and gets Turner swinging to retire the Phillies in order. Skenes up to seven strikeouts and 82 pitches through six. 

• End of fifth inning: Cruz grounds out 4-3 and McCutchen and Reynolds both strike out swinging to end a quick frame.

• Skenes gets Marsh swinging and Davis throws out Kemp. Review overturned a safe call. Double play ends the top of the fifth. Skenes up to six strikeouts and 70 pitches over five innings. 

• Skenes misses inside with a 3-2 splinker to Kemp. One-out baserunner for the Phillies.

• Hearing some "E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES!" chants from some Philly fans in the crowd.

• Kepler down looking. Skenes has now struck out three of the last four batters he's faced.

• End of fourth inning: IKF lines out to Turner at short.

• Two-out single for Triolo. Marsh made a sliding effort but could only trap it. 

• Skenes picks up two more strikeouts of Schwarber and Castellanos in a 1-2-3 fourth. He's at 53 pitches after a 15-pitch fourth. 

• End of third inning: Gonzales and Davis line out. 

• Reynolds reaches on a one-out walk. 

• Wow. Marsh makes a leaping catch near the wall to rob McCutchen of a hit. At least the second time this homestand that Cutch has come close to hitting one out. 

• Skenes gets out of the inning by getting Stott to pop out and Turner to ground out 6-3. Run in the inning is unearned. Skenes at 38 pitches through three innings. 

• RUN: Marchan doubles to right and Marsh ends up scoring on an error by Gonzales, who delivered a low throw to second that appeared to hit off the second-base bag. Trickled far enough away for Marsh to score. Tied at 1-1

• Phillies get their first hit off Skenes. Marsh sends a 1-1 splinker into right for a one-out single. 

• End of second inning: IKF and Cruz each strike out. Triolo stranded at second.

• Man, IKF sends one just foul down the first-base line. Would've scored another.

• RUN: Triolo sends an RBI double into the gap in right-center field. Hayes hustles around to score from first. Some run support for Skenes. Pirates, 1-0

• Canario strikes out swinging and Hayes follows with a one-out single. 

• Six up, six down for Skenes. Needed just five pitches to get through Bohm, Castellanos and Kepler. 

• End of first inning: Gonzales lines out to short and Davis pops out to third. 

• Reynolds sends a 3-2 pitch into left for a single of his own. Two on, one out for Gonzales.

• After Cruz goes down swinging to start the home half, McCutchen sends a single into left. That's hit No. 2,200 for Cutch. 

• Skenes gets Schwarber swinging with a 2-2 slider near the bottom of the zone. Got Stott to pop out and Turner to fly out prior. A 10-pitch first for Skenes.
