• RUN: Marchan doubles to right and Marsh ends up scoring on an error by Gonzales, who delivered a low throw to second that appeared to hit off the second-base bag. Trickled far enough away for Marsh to score. Tied at 1-1
• Phillies get their first hit off Skenes. Marsh sends a 1-1 splinker into right for a one-out single.
• End of second inning: IKF and Cruz each strike out. Triolo stranded at second.
