• Beauty of a double play turned there by Peguero and Tsung-Che Cheng to end the eighth. Nice flip by the former and a strong throw to first from the latter, who also made a leaping catch at short for the first out. 

• HOME RUN: Liover Peguero with an absolute nuke to left field. First of the spring. PIRATES, 6-5.

• Back up to the press box just in time to watch Bryce Johnson commit highway robbery in center field. Leaping catch at the wall to rob Vimael Machin of a potential homer.

• Clubhouse time. 

• McCutchen comes through with a one-out single. 

• Diamond gets Westburg swinging to finally put an end to the fourth. 

• RUN: Orioles score another on a passed ball. Slipped out of the glove of Rodriguez and Diamond couldn't corral the throw home. ORIOLES, 5-4.

• Derek Diamond replaces Harbin.

• RUNS: Ryan O'Hearn plates two with a single to right. Tied at 4-4.

• HBP to Mullins loads the bases. 

• Skenes' final line: 3.0IP, 4H, 2R, 2BB, 3K. Threw 40 of 65 pitches for strikes unofficially.

• RUN: Vazquez plates a run on a sac fly. PIRATES, 4-2.

• Harbin walks Urias. Bases loaded. 

• Harbin wild pitch allows both runners to advance.

• RUN: What a night it's been so far for Rodriguez. He singles into right field to plate Reynolds and advances to second on the throw. PIRATES, 3-1.

• Not the most efficient outing for Skenes so far. He gets out of the second limiting the damage, but he's thrown just 23 of 40 pitches for strikes. I'm sure there's more to be desired there.

• Ramon Urias sends a 99 mph fastball into right for a one-out double. Two on.

• RUN: Rodriguez scores on a sac fly by Valdez. Yorke advances to third. PIRATES, 1-0.

• Nick Yorke goes the opposite way for a one-out double off the wall in right-center field. Exactly what Yorke is looking to do at the plate. 

• Endy Rodriguez singles up the middle past the glove of Eflin. First hit of the night for the Pirates.

• Jordan Westburg grounds into a 6-4 fielder's choice to end the first. Skenes threw 12 of 19 pitches for strikes. Topped out at 100 with his fastball and regularly hit 98, 99.

• Adley Rutschman legs out an infield single. Enmanuel Valdez was late getting that out of the glove.
