• Mayza gives up two singles but strikes out three batters to get out of the inning.

• Falter catches Mayo swinging with a sinker above the zone. He offered him one below the zone on the first pitch of the at-bat.
• He was first-pitch swinging and grounds out to shortstop.
• Reynolds grounds into a double play to erase Pham and here comes McCutchen for his first AB of the spring. Got a nice reception.
• Pham hits a little dribbler out of the box and beats it out to first base.
• Falter catches Cowser looking with a sinker on the outer half of the plate and he strands the runner at first.
• Sanchez flies out to Billy Cook in center field and Cook tried to throw out Mountcastle at first, who was a little off the bag.
• Bailey Falter walks his first batter of the spring but erases him with a ground ball to second base as Mountcastle reaches safetly.
