Chas Bonasorte passed away yesterday. Known as "The Kamikaze Kid," Bonasorte was a member of the 1976 National Championship team, was Tony Dorsett's roommate for road games and operated "The Pitt Stop."
I had the pleasure of working for Bonasorte on game days on the corner of General Robinson St. and Tony Dorsett Dr. outside of Gold Lot 1. He was always gracious and sure had the personality that attracted many. He'll be missed.
