Football: Kickoff time announced for Backyard Brawl
The first three kickoff times and television assignments, including the highly anticipated Backyard Brawl, have been announced by ESPN and the Atlantic Coast Conference.
The Panthers’ Aug. 30 season opener against Duquesne at Acrisure Stadium will kick off at noon and be televised by ACC Network. It will be the first meeting on the gridiron between the Panthers and Dukes since Oct. 21, 1939.
Pitt will play host to Central Michigan for the first time in program history on Sept. 6, and the contest will be televised by ESPNU at noon. The 108th renewal of the Backyard Brawl against West Virginia will take place in Morgantown on Sept. 13 at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN.
