Sunday’s Best: It’s all about Flower Power

No Sidney Crosby, no Conor Sheary. No 66 percent of what served as one of hockey's best lines for the latter part of the season. No problem.

Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Capitals wasn't necessarily as pretty as a Penguins win led by Crosby, but the Evgeni Malkin-led variant of the black and gold found a way to quite literally grind out a 3-1 lead, and a chance to win the series in Washington on Saturday. Did I say Malkin? As good as the playoff points-leader has been, Marc-Andre Fleury once again seemingly carried the Penguins to victory behind his 34 saves.

From my seat, I never felt like there was great action happening in front of me tonight, and I was disappointed to see that my focus jumped on me in the best frame of Patric Hornqvist's goal. I made some images that I enjoy, though, and you can see those here. Overall, not my favorite day of playoff shooting, but there is always Saturday in Washington to make up for it.
