I've been waiting for this Sunday's Best since the NHL Draft, when the Penguins acquired Ryan Reaves.
It's not that I'm a fan of bare-knuckle fighting — I've suffered a concussion or three too many to make that claim. It's that the 'best sport, worst league' has a bad habit of letting its superstars fall victim to 'hockey plays,' and I believe players should retain a chance to police themselves when the league chooses not to.
Reaves was brought to Pittsburgh to wear the sheriff's badge when needed, but also to skate and to produce alongside the talent of a back-to-back championship team.
Saturday, he played his third game as a Penguin, but he made his real debut.
