If you don't follow Zach Banner on Twitter by now ... what are you even doing with your life?!
Banner is hilarious — both online and in-person — and I gotta say, it seems this quarantine has given him some extra time to craft some especially funny zingers for the Twitterverse to enjoy.
His latest, however, might backfire when the Steelers resume team activities at the Rooney Complex. Because, and I'm not a scientist, but my calculations conclude you should not poke the bear. Especially when that bear is Cam Heyward.
Welp. Banner didn't listen. He went for it:
Ohio State Education... Exhibit A: https://t.co/ARQEQQ2wmF

Heyward's tweet came after the Steelers re-signed veteran safety Jordan Dangerfield to a one-year deal Friday. It reads:
"DANGE!!! Glad to bro to work wit my dude again!"
Now. That is not perfect grammar from Heyward, but I think we all know what he was getting at.
Well, we do after Banner clarified, at least:
@Dangerfield__ Cam meant to say:
“DANGER!!!! I’m very glad to be able to work with you again my friend! God bless and stay safe!”
... I second that

That led to extended banter ... because Devin Bush just couldn't stay away:
You don’t even like him..
— Devin Bush ll (@_Dbush11) March 20, 2020
Heyward wasn't going to let the young buck get him like that though:
Nah I just don’t like you lol
— Cam Heyward (@CamHeyward) March 20, 2020
And it looked for a moment as if Bush would win the exchange with this:
You the reason we quarantined
— Devin Bush ll (@_Dbush11) March 20, 2020
But Heyward, channeling all his experience and veteran savvy in the trash-talk game had one more waiting for Bush. And it was a dagger:
It’s cuz u ain’t wash that dirty rat tail on the back of yo head lol

Football can't come back quickly enough, but the Steelers are making sure fans can stay entertained in the meantime.
And it's all thanks to Banner and his instigating ways.
Oh, and for what it's worth, a quick search revealed Banner's alma mater, the University of Southern California (USC), ranked 22nd nationally in academics, while Heyward's Ohio State University — the Ohio State University, to be exact — clocked in at No. 54.
So, yeah, Banner kinda has a point here ... but Heyward really doesn't care:
Dude that’s what we call him! If you weren’t busy stuffing your face you would know that lol
