With the limited access at Friday's OTA workouts at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex, there isn't much to report from the South Side. Here's what I can report:
• Alex Highsmith was leading the way during outside linebacker drills during any of the portion in which the media was permitted to shoot. T.J. Watt had been in attendance for all of the OTAs thus far, but was not seen while the media was allowed to watch practice. It's not the most outlandish thing, especially since these are voluntary workouts.
• DK Metcalf was also not with the receivers during the shooting period, nor was Jaylen Warren with the running backs during the shooting period. Two other veterans that have been in attendance.
• Still no sign of Jalen Ramsey or Nick Herbig. I also did not see Joey Porter Jr. during any of the media window, not even off to the side.
