Priority No. 1 of this list is bringing back Warren. That's assuming Arthur Smith remains the offensive coordinator. He fits his system well. Either way, he's proven himself to be a very good running back. Just needs to stay healthy, which should also make the contract very affordable.
Of all the remaining guys, I'd approach Fields about a reunion. He's the younger guy with higher upside. But, as I've been reporting since August, the Steelers will surely kick the tires on Wilson. However, we have yet to see if the playoff loss has any impact on that decision-making process. I'd also try to bring back Roberts. And, he wants to remain in Pittsburgh. Should be an affordable contract.
There are a handful of guys that could be nice depth additions. Mainly, I think there's a place for Skowronek on a winning roster. He's a good depth receiver -- a No. 5, most likely -- that is very good on special teams. McCollum is a nice backup center, and they can keep him without resistance.
Everyone else ... nothing really jumps out as something that has to be done, no matter what. This team needs change. The roster is part of that, too.
